Aggressive policy moves in the marketing rules for food and beverage products are affecting how products are promoted, labelled, and sold in a number of countries. The continued push from WHO and others to limit marketing of these products is eroding.

Just back from Global Marketer Week, Lindsay Mouat will brief you on the latest regulatory threats from the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia and the risks that these and this years’ UN high level meeting on Non-Communicable Diseases have for brands in this country.

Lindsay is Chief Executive of ANZA (the Association of New Zealand Advertisers). He is an advocate for companies advertising across all media, engaged in issues as diverse as industry self-regulation, brand safety and audience measurement. Lindsay is the advertiser representative on the Advertising Standards Authority’s Governance Board.
